Boursa Kuwait ended last week with a mixed performance. The Premier Market Index closed at 5,439.52 points, up by 0.17%, the Main Market Index decreased by 0.74% after closing at 4,762.71 points, and the All-Share Index closed at 5,199.64 points down by 0.12%. Furthermore, last week’s average daily turnover decreased by 8.43%, compared to the preceding week, reaching around K.D 28.72 million, whereas trading volume average was about 180.44 million shares, recording a decrease of 10.71%.

The Market recorded a weekly loss of around K.D. 35.56 million, whereas the market capitalization for the total listed stocks by the end of the week declined to about K.D. 29.21 billion against K.D. 29.25 billion in the previous week, down by 0.12%. Also, the market gains since the beginning of 2019 reached more than K.D. 705 million, up by 2.47% compared to its value at last trading day of the last year, where it reached then K.D. 28.51 billion. Moreover, last week witnessed trading over 155 stock out of 175 listed stock in the Market, where prices of 64 stock increased against prices of 71 stock decreased, and prices of 40 stock remained at no change.
