Boursa Kuwait ended last week with a mixed performance. The Premier Market Index closed at 5,419.95 points, down by 0.36%, the Main Market Index increased by 0.71% after closing at 4,796.37 points, and the All-Share Index closed at 5,197.38 points down by 0.04%. Furthermore, last week’s average daily turnover decreased by 6.58%, compared to the preceding week, reaching around K.D 26.83 million, whereas trading volume average was about 143.63 million shares, recording a decrease of 20.40%.

The Market recorded a weekly loss of around K.D. 109.07 million, whereas the market capitalization for the total listed stocks by the end of the week declined to about K.D. 29.10 billion against K.D. 29.21 billion in the previous week, down by 0.37%. Also, the market gains since the beginning of 2019 reached more than K.D. 595 million, up by 2.09% compared to its value at last trading day of the last year, where it reached then K.D. 28.51 billion. Moreover, last week witnessed trading over 152 stock out of 176 listed stock in the Market, where prices of 51 stock increased against prices of 87 stock decreased, and prices of 38 stock remained at no change.
